Rail

The Indian Pacific (Sydney to Perth) and the Ghan (Adelaide to Darwin) each pass through Pimba. Both services are operated by Great Southern Railways.

Road

Greyhound Australia operates a daily passenger coach service between Adelaide and Roxby Downs stopping at Pimba. Pick up and drop off are at Spud's Roadhouse, Pimba. Greyhound Australia also provides a freight service.

Air

Several rental car companies also operate from Olympic Dam Airport.
