Role: To protect life and property, prevent and detect crime, preserve the peace, maintain law and order and provide a general Police service to the community of Woomera.

Hours: Office hours are generally 9:00 am to 5:00 pm weekdays. Special events or other commitments may cause these hours to vary considerably. Motor registration department enquiries, such as drivers licence tests and vehicle registrations, are available Tuesday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Wednesday mornings 9:00 am to 12 noon. If required after hours, Police are on a call out basis for emergencies or urgent matters.
