User Application

The Department of Defence encourages use of the Woomera Test Range (WTR) by government agencies and commercial organisations, subject to safety, environmental and other considerations. Requests to use the range should be submitted to the Director Woomera Test Range in accordance with Annex A of Policy and Procedures for the Use of the Woomera Prohibited Area and Woomera Test Facility. Prospective users are invited to seek initial guidance from the Director Woomera Test Range.

Familiarisation visits to Woomera are recommended to evaluate facilities and discuss trial support requirements with WTR personnel and supporting organisations prior to submitting a formal application.
